Composed and mastered in Durban's underground house scene, Argento Dust has been recognised as one of South Africa's most underrated house producers and DJs — steadily rising toward his ambition of becoming one of Africa's greatest.
His work has been featured across publications and compilations by brands including Mixmag and Black Coffee, and he has shared the stage with artists such as Zakes Bantwini, Zahara and NaakMusiQ.
His love for making and performing music was sparked in 2010, producing across dance genres under various aliases — with production credits including Babes Wodumo feat. Mampintsha's 'Mercedes', Shimza's 'Congo Congo', and Zulu Mkhathini feat. Moonchild Sanelly's 'Shikisha'.
In 2018 he collaborated with Shimza on 'All Alone', released on Shimza's EP of the same name. He later formed the label Back Noise Music Africa alongside Kususa, self-releasing his 'Little Things' EP in 2021.
Argento Dust was positioned #13 on Traxsource's Top 100 Afro House Artists of 2018 and holds a Dance Music Award South Africa nomination.
